Greetings, I am Christopher Micah Webb the Senior Pastor of a well established church. I have a heart to see people come to know Christ and then grow in their walk with Him. My greatest desire is to proclaim the Word of God and the gospel of Jesus Christ. It was the evening of August 7, 2011 that God providentially introduced me and my family to Mt. Elim’s loving church family. Through God, the next month the Church extended the call to me as their full time pastor.
I am a proud member of the Waccamaw Siouan Tribe of North Carolina. I have served in the ministry since 1998. I served as the Pastor of two other churches within the Burnt Swamp Baptist Association. I have also served as a Certified Hospice Chaplain, from 2001 to 2009 covering multiple counties throughout southeastern North Carolina.
I completed my Bachelors degree in Biblical Studies from Carolina Bible College. I have also completed a Masters of Arts degree with a specialization in Pastoral Counseling and a Masters of Divinity degree from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary (LBTS) in 2010. I am currently attending LBTS working to obtain my Doctorate degree of Ministry. Lord willing I will complete this program in the fall of 2012.
I'm married to my loving and supportive wife Carmellia. We've been happily married since January 1992. Carmellia has a gift of teaching, serving the youth, and women’s ministry. We do not have any children. However, God gave us our niece Marlena. He gave us this opportunity of rearing her for the past seven years.
I am humbled and honored to serve the Lord Jesus Christ as the pastor of this church. It is my prayer that as we reflect on the past, yet continuing to work in the present, that we embrace the future as we continue to move forward in the matchless and marvelous name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
