Many good things can be said about Mt. Elim, but only because and through the marvelous Grace of our heavenly Father who gave His only Son to the world. By God’s grace are we saved and in His mercy do we live to serve Him.
Mt. Elim Baptist Church is a multi-ethnic (primarily Native American), rural congregation located in Hoke County of southeastern North Carolina. As Southern Baptists, we identify with the Burnt Swamp Baptist Association and share our witness around the world through a cooperative mission effort.
Ministry by this church majors on winning the lost for Christ, equipping the saints for His service, strengthening the family through Christian nurture, and living the gospel in a sinful society. The Word of God lightens the path we have chosen to follow where darkness confronts us. The power of God seals our faith so that evil cannot prevail against the message of God’s love to every creature, a message we hope to share with you.
